It’s kind of ironic that I started to write because I wanted to get away from reading so much. I find, though, that the only way to get people to read my stuff is to read their (your) stuff. I guess the trick is to not be bothered whether anyone reads what I write.

Or maybe I could try writing stuff that’s more interesting.

What are you interested in?

  1. Robert, I think if you want people to read your blog you have to read and comment on other blogs. It’s not only polite, it’s how blogging works, IMHO. If you really don’t want to interact with others, just post what you want and move on. Concentrate on writing a book, I guess. But yeah, interacting with others is what makes blogging interesting for me

    • Me too. Interacting with others is what makes me happy. There are other aspects to me that disagree with that, though. I have a sociable side and an isolate side. I maybe have to learn to embrace both and find a path that allows them to give me the sustenance that they have. It’s too simplistic to say that one is wrong and the other right.
But yeah, you’re right – I need to read and comment. πŸ™‚
