I get to do ink drawings regularly because I have taken visual arts. Other than that, you should see what I do in Socio and political science copies when the class gets boring. Yep, keep it up. It’s real fun
Thanks. I did post a few poems. Working on a few stories (two not to be exposed and one to be posted). As for art, I’m doing pensketching with black ink. Also working on improving still life skills with shading pencils (in short, working on strokes – hard enough to give the sharpness to the drawing, soft enough to not stand out individually)
Still life skills are a great place to start. Once you have a good way to represent reality, you can then go on to represent unreality (for want of a better word). I love working with ink. Drew another Inky Fambly the other day. 🙂
A mistaken non-idiot. That sounds about right. 🙂 And if I had anything of more substance to say, I’d have said it right here. You know sometimes, when deep feels trite – that’s where I am.
Great artwork. Looks like someone did it whilst sucking their thumb.

Yes, actually – this is precisely what I do with my other hand when I suck my fingers! 😀

I like it too. I think I’ll do more like this. Maybe put some captions. Maybe make a story.

Haha, see what I mean by clumsy and not good?

You use a style that conveys exactly what you want to say. Sparse (spare, simple), precise and evocative.

That’s right.

You should post more. You have an individual style that’s worth sharing.

Did you post it?? I was thinking of posting a few studies in ink

Not yet. Let me know when you’re going to post your studies and I’ll post at the same time. 😉

I do get rather competitive at times. I duly apologise. Sorry.

Don’t smile. OK, I mistyped. But it’s not the point. It’s the “second time”

Not smiling at your mistype. Smiling at your attempt not to look outraged. *warm smile*

Nice. You told us the story through the tags … you could’ve made us guess instead. 😊

I kinda did what I did. 🙂

I didn’t say you should have; I just said you could have. (Does that sound like I’m rapping? 😉)

I thought it looked a little like a nativity scene at first, then I saw a small dinosaur and then I read your tags and boy, was I wrong! 🙂

It could well be that I was wrong! Never discount the possibility that the artist is an idiot. 😉

Never, dear Robert. Mistaken, perhaps, but not an idiot!
