This magnificent piece of art, what I painted this morning on a 14.72 x 14.94 metre canvas, may not fetch over a hundred million dollars at auction any time soon, but look on the bright side – I’m not dead.

Oh! This is quite nice , Robert! You write , you doodle and now you paint too. This is creatively abstract and surreal. Colors blend great.

Why thank you very much, Yasmin. It took me all of 20 minutes to produce this ‘masterpiece’. Today the scribble-coloured-in-with-highlighter-pens – tomorrow, the world! 🙂

How about a ‘masterpiece ‘ in oils or watercolours ? The world is curious!

The world is an extremely curious thing – even when I look at it from behind my fingers.
I have some acrylic paints. I keep waiting for inspiration to strike.
I might buy some wax crayons and melt them onto paper in the oven. Or maybe a hairdryer would be better. 🙂

Nicey nice! It’s cute, but somehow I like the black and white ones better (dull soul that I have).

I prefer the black and white too – so you’re not alone.

Have you ever tried charcoal? I love it!

Not for a long time. Messy. I prefer fine, detailed work. It’s difficult to master – how are you going with it?
LikeLiked by 1 person
With charcoal? Didn’t actually get enough time to do it lately. Pen drawings? Actually I am doing sketches now and my sketchbook has no more pages left. Drew on 100 pages within two months. Working on doodling at the moment

You should (please, please, please) share some!
(No – the detail is for pen – I can’t do detail with charcoal.)

You won’t like them.
Well, I worked with charcoal for two months or so. Not good in details. I love pen sketching! I do it whenever I’m free in School (even when the class is going on and the teacher is boring). I try to sketch the people around me.

What do the people think about their sketches?

I mostly draw their hairs and figures and due to their constant movement, I can’t do the faces properly. Well, some like them, some don’t.

The ones that like them – ask for their money! 😀

I do quite the opposite. I don’t show them the drawing. And when I do, they ask me to send a pic of it on WhatsApp. I do send, but after a month or so

So its, like “here’s this really crap picture of you – it you don’t give me money I will send it to all your friend”? 🙂

Nah 😂 it’s like
She: Nice! Send this to me via WhatsApp.
Me: nah, it’s not what I wanted to make.
She: doesn’t matter. Send away.
Me: ok
*Forgetful. Sends after a month or so*

I know. Today, one of them threw a super tantrum because I didn’t bring her paper. Hey, I didn’t go to school!

I thought you had a test yesterday? Wasn’t that at school then?
LikeLiked by 1 person
The test was yesterday. Today was a competition on the occasion of Rabindranath Tagore’s death anniversary. So, this girl told me to bring her paper for drawing, but I got sick. So I told my other friend to bring a paper for her, which he did, but according to her, the paper was not good. I can possibly do nothing, but let her sulk about it.

What’s a ‘paper for drawing’? Do you mean the paper you have already done the drawing on, or … something else?
LikeLiked by 1 person
No, the paper where you draw. The school doesn’t supply that because they don’t know which medium of colour each of us are going to use. We have to draw after the topic is given

What?! *utterly confused face*
I thought you were talking about the drawings of your friends and other students that you do. Why is the school getting involved in that? Topic? What topic?

Ho?!!??! Phew! Now listen carefully. The school organises a competition on this day (Tagore’s death anniversary) every year, where we are supposed to sit and draw. Topics are given, but we are supposed to bring the things we are going to use Ex: the paper, colours, clip board and stuff. A friend of mine asked me to bring her sheet too. But I didn’t go and asked another friend to bring a sheet for her, which he did. She didn’t like it, and threw a tantrum…. Clear??

Nice, but the colours make it look too … cheerful. I don’t have anything against cheer or colour, but for this piece, I find that the colours take away its depth.
