Advice for Youth

Here’s some advice for you young people out there:

Love what you will become.

You will, one day, get old.

Hopefully.

And if you think that you shouldn’t be hopeful about this, then consider the alternative.

Anyway, when you get old, you will either like being old, or you will loathe it. And which of the two categories you fall into will depend on whether you like old people now.

So I say again:

old people

On the topic of horses, I saw a small horse (not much bigger than a large dog) in the middle of the road the other day, all alone.

      • Do you think that I should try to express myself in a clearer fashion and not obfuscate so much? I mean, I know that when I post, I give clues in my tags, but it’s not really possible in comments.

    • Proving to be popular advice. I think I might set myself up as an Agony Aunt (with balls). Oooh, that wasn’t too risquΓ© was it? I mean, I was just commenting on the disparity between the word Aunt and my gender. Eek – the thought police are coming – save me!!!!!
