Three rules for life:
- Be kind
- Have gratitude
- Be compassionate.
I just saw a woman getting off a train. She was unsteady on the steps and so was carefully holding onto the rails at her side. A kind woman on the platform held out her hand and the unsteady woman grasped it and made her way down the last step. ‘Thank you,’ she said.
When you wake up in the morning, say ‘thank you’ for having breath. Be grateful that you’ve been given a new day.
Compassion is one of those things that you have on the inside that affects the way you interact with people on the outside. The more compassion you have the nicer you tend to be.
