It’s like, when you buy a bar of ‘sugar-free’ chocolate because you think that sugar is evil. And it says on the back of the wrapping that there’s 80% less sugar in this bar and so you think ‘well, that’s 80% less evil in the world’.
And you also scanned words to the effect that this bar may cause a laxative effect and that there are five helpings here. But you think ‘gah, that’ll be okay’.
And you eat it.
All of it.
And it is okay. Perfectly okay. It’s okay right up until that point, halfway through your lunch, when it’s not.
