How much influence do we have on how long we’ll live? Fixed, fated or flexible?
Are we allotted a fixed number of steps we can walk (and a fixed number of heartbeats) in our lives?
Put another way: if we walk faster, do we add to our lives, because we are exercising our heart more, or do we shorten our lives because we are using up our steps and heartbeats quicker?
I guess we can never know. We just have to enjoy the time we have.
