Likes or Comments

I like Likes when I don’t feel sociable because they are a very low-commitment thing. I like comments when I’m feeling more sociable because that’s what I do when I’m sociable – I chat. When I’m not feeling so sociable and I get comments then it’s easy for me to become overwhelmed by the blogging experience and start to ignore comments, which isn’t the best way to win friends and influence people in the blogosphere.

I used to be a lot more into comments. I would have multiple conversations spanning many days, and sometimes weeks, with several different people at the same time. But that’s when I had waaay more time to dedicate to my blog. I’m in a bit of a hibernation mode ar the moment. Things are barely ticking over. One post a day seems like a serious underplaying of my hand to me.

Overall, I like both likes and comments at the moment, but I’m not sure that I can sustain my interaction as well with comments, so chat to me, but don’t expect me to keep up my side for a long time.
