You’re very welcome, Pooja. π
(Bet you can’t wait until we get to know each other better so that we can rip through the facade of polite conversation, get rip-roaring drunk, tear the town up, fall out, fall up the stairs, fall asleep on the couch to some cheesy movie and then wake up in time for morning coffee like what normal people do. Or something like that.)
Oh, jeesh, that’s a hard question, D. I don’t really go for idols much. I’d make a terrible devotee. I tend to like people and things and places for a while and then move on to someone, something, someplace else. At the moment I adore a singer called Elena Tonra and play her album Ex:Re over and over (and over) again, but I know that ain’t going to last forever, y’know?
How about you – any favourite people, places, times or … stuff like that?
In Italian it’s a pie (literally) or a right bluddy mess (metaphorically), which is where I imagine pastiche comes from, a ragbag of borrowed bits and bats π
Learnt something new and got to find some amazing blogs to check out. Thanks for including mine. I think I like pastiches.

Always loved that word. In french, it sounds similar to “pistache” which makes me smile. Swap the “i” and “a” to get a pistachio.

That and serendipity are lovely words. Can’t think of a nut to go with serendipity though. π

What a lovely concept! If you were to create a pastiche, who would you pay your tribute to?

Ooo, I had to look that one up, Jane.
“Pastitsio is a Greek baked pasta dish with ground meat and bΓ©chamel sauce, with variations of the dish found in other countries of the Mediterranean Sea.”
Actually, that sounds totally yum!! π
